AI follow-up

The follow-up that always got forgotten

Nobody decides not to follow up. It just competes with the work that is already in front of you, and loses every time.

What it sounds like

Demo — an illustration, not a recording

Quote sent Tuesday · no reply after three working days

Hi Anil — following up on the quote we sent Tuesday. Anything on it you would like to go through?

AI

Been away, sorry. Can you hold it until next week?

Customer

Held until Friday next week. I will stop chasing — you have my number when you are ready.

AI

Sequence cancelled on reply · quote held · owner notified

A quote that was going cold is back in play, the customer was not chased twice, and nobody had to remember any of it.

Why this exists

The situation this fixes

The quote sent on Tuesday, the customer who said "call me next month", the job finished three weeks ago. Each one is worth money and each one depends on somebody remembering. Follow-up is the first thing a busy week deletes.

How it works

Step by step

  1. 01

    You say when, once

Three days after a quote. A week after silence. The day after a job. It becomes a rule instead of a note.

  2. 02

It reaches them where they reply

WhatsApp, SMS, email or a call — inside the quiet hours you set.

  3. 03

    It stops when they answer

A reply cancels the rest of the sequence. Nobody gets the second reminder after they already said yes.

  4. 04

    It gives up gracefully

Follow-up is bounded. After the attempts you allowed, it stops and marks the outcome rather than chasing forever.

When a person takes over

Where the AI stops

A reply that is a complaint, a negotiation or a question the AI cannot answer stops the sequence and goes to a person with the thread attached.

Questions

About this job

Will customers get chased after they have already replied?

No. A reply cancels the rest of the sequence in AutoCallDesk. There is also a central limit on how often any one customer is contacted, so two separate follow-ups running at once cannot combine into a burst of messages.

Can I control when messages go out?

Yes. You set quiet hours, and follow-ups respect them — a sequence that comes due at eleven at night waits rather than sending. You also set how many attempts are allowed before it stops.
