AI enquiry handling
Nothing said on a call disappears when the call ends
An enquiry that lives on a notepad, in somebody’s head, or in a call log with no notes is not an enquiry. It is a customer you have already lost and not noticed yet.
What it sounds like
Demo — an illustration, not a recordingI am after a quote for fitting out a small office — maybe twelve desks.
CustomerI can take that down. Twelve desks — is that a new space or a refit?
AINew space, moving in next month.
CustomerAnd is there a date you need to be working by?
AIThe 14th.

Why this exists
The situation this fixes
People ask about work you would happily do, and the asking happens at the worst possible moment — mid-job, mid-delivery, on the way somewhere. What survives is a number in a call log and a vague memory of what they wanted.
How it works
Step by step
- 01
It answers the easy part
What you do, where you cover, what it roughly costs, when you are open.
- 02
It asks what a quote would need
The questions your team would ask anyway, asked while the customer is still there.
- 03
It writes it down properly
An enquiry with the requirement, the contact details and the history attached — not a name and a number.
- 04
It gives it an owner
Routed to the right person by your own rules, with a due date, so it appears on somebody’s list rather than in a log.
When a person takes over
Where the AI stops
Quoting stays a person’s job. The AI captures what is needed to do it well and hands it over — and anything unusual reaches a person during the call rather than after it.
Questions
About this job
Does the AI decide the price?
No. AutoCallDesk captures the requirement and can quote only from prices you have published in Company knowledge. Anything that needs judgement about price is captured as an enquiry and given to a person with an owner and a due date.
Who does the enquiry get assigned to?
Whoever your rules select. AutoCallDesk chooses between eligible people using factors you configure — skills, availability, area, current workload, priority — and records every candidate it considered and why each was or was not chosen, so an assignment can always be explained.
